Thanks to the proliferation and ubiquity of the internet, remote countries that previously found themselves to be largely removed from the tourism industry are suddenly facing a sharp increase of pilgrimages to specific landmarks. As the Faroe Islands have begun to reckon with their newfound status as a magnet to photographers, this series is an attempt to spotlight the allure that can be found in the less celebrated corners of the islands.
